First thing this morning, Judge Juan Marchan had a hearing regarding Snoozy McGrabbyhands’s constant violations of his gag order via continued outbursts on Truth Social and it didn’t go well for the defense. Defence attorney Todd Blanche says hey, my client is just responding to political attacks (I fail to see how Marchan’s daughter attacked Trump but you do you) but Marchan wasn’t having it. “You presented nothing… You’re losing all credibility, I’ll tell you that right now.”
Prosecutors want Snoozy fined $1,000 for each violation, and they’re identifying ten instances. They are “not yet” asking for jail time. Marchan will rule at another time to be determined.
Afterwards, Snoozy posted the following on Truth Social: “HIGHLY CONFLICTED, TO PUT IT MILDLY, JUDGE JUAN MERCHAN, HAS TAKEN AWAY MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH. EVERYBODY IS ALLOWED TO TALK AND LIE ABOUT ME, BUT I AM NOT ALLOWED TO DEFEND MYSELF. THIS IS A KANGAROO COURT, AND THE JUDGE SHOULD RECUSE HIMSELF!”
They absolutely refuse to enforce the gag order and I cannot understand why. Yes, you give a man enough rope to hang himself but after a while, it’s just making you look like a little bitch.
Yesterday started with the opening arguments in Snoozy’s business fraud trial in New York and basically, for the defense, it was the verbal equivalent of a dog madly chasing a car, catching it, then wondering “what the fuck do I do with this?”
The prosecution, in this case ADA Matthew Colangelo, told the jury that “This case is about a criminal conspiracy and a coverup… He [Trump] falsified those business records because he wanted to conceal his and others’ criminal conduct.” During all of this, the extra-orange defendant sat silent, staring straight ahead. Better call Saul.
