And Wyoming continues its Trump-humping ways. The state’s GOP is re-enacting their own Night of the Long Knives and won’t let Rep. Liz Cheney play any more reindeer games. The Republican Party of Wyoming has voted to stop recognizing Cheney as a Republican. It’s retaliation for her public repudiation of the Big Whine and other criticisms of the Tangerine Traitor and his epic electile dysfunction. They’re choosing to overlook the fact that she voted with TT 93% of the time.
This is the GOP, people. This is what they are like. Getting more and more like 1938 Berlin every day; Cheney didn’t blindly follow the party line and now she’s not invited to the Fourth of July cookout. The GOP is cool with three-toed sloth Margie, Ammosexual Annie (Boebert), PedoGaetz, “If the hood fits” Hawley, and Gosar the Batshit, however. Need to know what direction the party is heading in? Just look at those stellar members of society. I’m calling it now: a faction of non-Shiite Republicans will break off and form their own party and then we will get to see Godzilla fight King Kong. Tickets available through Ticketmaster, with a small convenience fee of $55.
According to the Casper Star-Tribune, “The resolution, which does not strip Cheney of any tangible power, passed the Wyoming GOP Central Committee by a narrow vote of 31-29. The symbolic vote came after roughly nine county Republican parties voted to no longer recognize Cheney, Joey Correnti, chairman of the Carbon County GOP and one of the officials spearheading the effort, estimated. A number of those county central committees passed the resolution with much wider margins than the state committee, with some passing the resolution unanimously."
Yes. The Wyoming GOP has a Central Committee. And I thought all they had in Wyoming was gay cowboys.
Cheney’s office issued a statement, saying “It's sad but not surprising that [House Minority Leader] Kkkevin McCarthy is continuing down the morally bankrupt path of embracing House Republicans who are white supremacists and conspiracy theorists, but attacking Liz Cheney for telling the truth and standing for the Constitution." And she’s right. I’m no Cheney fan, and would be sure to dress in bright orange should I ever be invited to one of their parties, but fair is fair. She’s being pilloried for doing the right thing, by a party that has abandoned all pretense of law and order. If you’re blue and you don’t know where to go to, why don’t you go where Harlem flits? The GOP has created their own monster, but they’re too stupid to realize that he owes them no loyalty at all, and will turn against him if it suits his purposes. He’ll leave them twisting in the wind, and then, well, “’I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party.”
I joke about it, but this is getting actually kind of scary. Read up on the Night of Long Knives. The parallels are becoming eerie.

And in their role of lauding the worst members of society, such as a teen who shot people in cold blood, or white supremacists, or a party member who accused school shooting victims of lying and harassed them, or a man sued for defamation because he said the Sandy Hook shooting never happened and all those dead kids were just invented or something, or a beer-swilling judge accused of rape, or a Representative who threatened the lives of a fellow colleague as well as POTUS, or a pedophile, or a man who proclaims that JFK Jr is going to rise from the dead and change parties and run on the ticket with Diaper Donnie, or a Representative who ignored over 100 claims of sexual assault by an athletic doctor when said Rep was serving as an assistant coach, or a raging crowd of incels who broke into the Capitol and threatened to kill members of Congress and the vice president, or a man who has filed bankruptcy seven times and let 763,000 people die by maintaining the COVID pandemic was a “democrat hoax”, or the “very fine” white supremacists in Charlottesville, ad infinitum, the GQP has now rallied behind human shitstain Steve Bannon, who has been indicted on contempt of Congress charges, and spent about 4 hours in FBI custody on Monday before being released by the Feebs.
This disheveled slob is their new poster boy and the GQP claims that he’s just a poor boy from a poor family so spare him his life from this monstrosity. Ammosexual Annie (Boebert) took to Twitter, saying “Now that Democrats have started these politically-motivated indictments for Contempt of Congress, I look forward to seeing their reactions when we keep that same energy as we take back the House next year!”
Elise Stefanik, who just drank a fresh batch of Kool-Aid, waded into the cesspool as well, saying “For years, Democrats baselessly accused President Trump of ‘weaponizing’ the DOJ. In reality, it is the Left that has been weaponizing the DOJ the ENTIRE TIME - from the false Russia Hoax to the Soviet-style prosecution of political opponents.” Dozy cow. Bet she couldn’t even find Russia on a map.
Everyone’s favorite deadbeat dictator released a stunningly clueless statement as well, saying, in part, “This Country has perhaps never done to anyone what they have done to Steve Bannon and they are looking to do it to others, also.” Uh, slow your roll there, Sparky. Executive Order 9066 has entered the chat.
Mucinex Monster-Lite himself proclaimed that “We’re going to go on the offense… this is going to be the misdemeanor from hell for Merrick Garland, Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden… stand by.” (Contempt of Congress is only a misdemeanor charge but it does go on your permanent record). Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

The House votes today on a resolution to censure Gosar the Pissant and to remove him from the Oversight and Reform committee, upon which he serves alongside Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This makes him the 24th House member to be censured in its history. His position on the House Natural Resources Committee is safe.
And that’s all I have for you today, kittens.
Excellent. But comparing the dear sloth to that demon human is unfair!
Bravo! Thank you for the reference to night of the long knives. I hadn't thought of that for a long time. Scary times.
